The Halifax Mooseheads ended their regular season with a 5-4 win over the Cape Breton Eagles on Sunday.
Dylan MacKinnon opened up the scoring with his first goal of the regular season, giving Halifax a 1-0 lead after 20 minutes.
Elliot Desnoyers, Jordan Dumais, Zack Jones and James Swan added to the Herd's lead in the second, making it 5-0.
Nicholas Girouard and Émile Hegarty-Aubin put the Eagles on the board early in the third period.
Cam Squires scored a pair to bring the Eagles within one but the Herd held on to win it 5-4.
The Mooseheads will make their way to Bathurst to take on the Titan in the first round of the playoffs.
