Mooseheads fall to Charlottetown in 5-1 loss

The Charlottetown Islanders picked up a 5-1 win over the Halifax Mooseheads on Sunday.

Lukas Cormier put the Islanders on the board early with Thomas Casey adding to their lead to make it 2-0 after 20 minutes.

Jason Horvath cut Charlottetown's lead in half early in the second period.

Patrick LeBlanc restored the Islanders' two goal lead early in the third period with Cormier following up with his second of the evening.

Thomas Casey netted one final goal to make it 5-1 Charlottetown.

The Mooseheads will make their way to Charlottetown on Wednesday.
