Mooseheads pick up 6-3 win over Titan

The Halifax Mooseheads topped the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 6-3 on Sunday.

Ben Allison opened up the scoring, giving the Titan a 1-0 lead but just 23 seconds later, Jordan Dumais tied things up at 1-1.

Dumais followed up with his second of the evening while Markus Vidicek also found the back of Bathurst's net to make it 3-1 after 20 minutes.

Ty Higgins and Dylan Andrews tied things up for the Titan in the second period but Dumais answered back, completing the hat-trick and restoring Halifax's lead.

Vidicek added to the Herd's lead to make it a two goal hockey game.

Dumais eventually scored his fourth goal on an empty net to make it a 6-3 final in Halifax's favour.

The Mooseheads will now make their way to Quebec for a a three-game road trip starting with the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada on Wednesday.
