The Halifax Mooseheads continued their winning ways on Sunday as they defeated the Moncton Wildcats 6-4.

Halifax drew first blood as Reece Peitzsche put the Herd up 1-0 late in the opening period.

Anthony Hamel put Moncton on the board less than a minute into the second period.

Josh Lawrence later added to Halifax's lead but Maxim Barbashev quickly answered back. Logan Crosby restored Halifax's lead but Miles Mueller once again tied things up for the Wildcats.

Jordan Dumais put Halifax back up by one with Markus Vidicek making it two shortly after.

Yoan Loshing brought Moncton within one but an empty netter from Alexandre Doucet kept them out of reach.

The Mooseheads are back in the Scotiabank Centre on Thursday when they welcome the Shawinigan Cataractes.
