The Halifax Mooseheads took a 2-0 series lead over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan after edging out a 6-5 win.

Attilio Biasca and Mathieu Cataford gave the Herd a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes.

Miguel Tourigny netted a pair of goals early in the second period to tie things up at 2-2.

Alexandre Tessier restored the Mooseheads' lead at the 6:22 mark of the second period.
Markus Vidicek added to their lead minutes later to make it 4-2 Halifax.

The Titan came out strong in the third period as Hendrix Lapierre and Jacob Melanson scored back-to-back goals to make it 4-4.

Evan Boucher and Vidicek restored Halifax's two goal lead but Lapierre quickly cut that lead in half but that wasn't enough as the Mooseheads held on to win it 6-5.

The teams will now head to the Scotiabank Centre on Monday for game three where the Mooseheads will have a chance to end the series.
