By CityNews Halifax Staff

The Halifax Mooseheads have lost three straight after suffering a 7-4 defeat at the hands of the Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Wednesdy.

Evan Boucher put the Mooseheads up early but Jacob Melanson quickly answered back to tie things up at 1-1.

Later in the period, Stéphane Huard Jr netted one for the Herd but goals from Ty Higgins and Dylan Andrews kept the Titan ahead by one.

Joseph Henneberry and Riley Kidney added to Bathurst's lead in the second period to make it 5-2.

Markus Vidicek brought Halifax back within two late in the period.

Ben Allison restored the Titan's three goal lead but then Brady Schultz found the back of the Titan's net midway through the third period.

Henneberry later scored his second of the evening as the Titan kept the Herd in the loss column.

The Mooseheads are back in the Scotiabank Centre on Friday when they welcome the Saint John Sea Dogs.
