The Moncton Wildcats defeated the Halifax Mooseheads 4-3 in overtime on Thursday night.

Fortier scored his second of the evening but Cameron Whynot and Robert Orr scored back-to-back goals for the Mooseheads to make it 3-2 Halifax.

Philippe Daoust tied things up for the Wildcats to force overtime where Fortier completed the hat trick to seal the deal for Moncton.

The Mooseheads are back in action Friday night when they take on the Charlottetown Islanders.
