No doubt some residents will wake up to parking tickets on their windshields this morning with last night’s snowfall.
Some may find their cars towed away.
According to Metro News 1,267 people in HRM received overnight parking ban tickets in the first four days of the ban.
At 50 dollars a pop that works out to more than $63,300 worth of money for the HRM.
Last Tuesday, Coun. Sue Uteck called the ban a tax grab on behalf of HRM, and urged parking enforcement officials to show some common sense.
