Shooting suspect awaiting results of bail hearing

It will be tomorrow before one of two Dartmouth men facing attempted murder charges finds out if he will be granted bail.

28-year-old Alexander James Downey was in Halifax provincial court yesterday. The Chronicle-Herald reports a publication ban was placed on evidence presented during the hearing.

Downey and 25-year-old Germain Lamar Beals both face nine charges after Devlin Glasgow was shot in west end Halifax last week.

It happened around 1:30 in the afternoon on December 22nd at 6969 Bayers Road.

Glasgow made it to a local gas station for help.

Reports are he is not cooperating with police.
