Zinck facing possible legal action over alleged gambling bill

The mother of a disabled Dartmouth man who claims Trevor Zinck used his credit card to rack up gambling debts says she’ll call a lawyer if the MLA doesn’t get in touch soon.

Helena McLeod says she’s frustrated and angry that the independent MLA has not responded to allegations that he used Scott Marshall’s credit card to run up $10,000 playing online poker.

She tells CBC that while Zinck has repaid Marshall for some of the debt, there’s still $7600 outstanding.

McLeod says she wants Zinck to “be a man” about what he’s done, otherwise she’ll call a lawyer.
