Dartmouth man identified as homicide victim

Police say they have a person in custody for questioning about the murder of a Dartmouth man – but haven’t laid any charges.
The body of Grant William Kidston, 47, was found Sunday afternoon in an apartment on Victoria Road in Dartmouth.
Halifax Regional Police Const. Brian Palmeter tells the Herald investigators know how Kidston died, but won’t make the information public because it’s critical information.
Investigators are talking to Kidston’s family, friends and neighbours trying to figure out what happened in the hours prior to his death.
There was no apparent sign of break-in or forced entry to the building’s main entrance or Kidston’s apartment.
