More messy weather is on the way – but once again it looks like HRM will escape the worst of it.
Environment Canada has issued snowfall warnings for six counties in Nova Scotia. Fifteen to 25 cm are expected in Yarmouth and up the Valley into Cumberland County North, including the Cobequid Pass, starting tonight.
In HRM, snow will start around midnight but only about 5 cm are expected before it changes over to ice pellets and then to rain Thursday morning.
It will be windy as well and milder overnight temperatures will drop to below zero by the afternoon.
