Closures, cancellations:
- Tri-County Regional School Board closing Digby County schools for the day.
- Annapolis Valley Regional School Board closing all schools for the day. Regional office and work sites open at 10 a.m.
- South Shore School Board closing all schools for the day.
- Halifax Regional School Board closing all schools for the day.
- Chignecto Central School Board closing all schools for the day.
- Halifax Christian Academy closed for the day.
- Our Lady of Schools in Halifax closed for the day. Science fair and open house postponed until tomorrow.
- The NSCC Pictou, Strait Area, Truro and Cumberland campuses are closed for the day.
- Centre Scholaire de la Rive Sud in Cookville and Ecole Rose des Vents in Greenwood are closed for the day.
- Bridgeway Academy in Dartmouth and Truro closed for the day.
- The Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts won’t open until noon today.
- Sandy Lake Academy is closed for the day.
- Tiny Treasures Nursery School is closed for the day.
- Maritime Muslim daycare and school closed for the day.
- St. F.X. University will delay opening until 10 a.m. An update will be provided at 9 a.m.
- Daytime Spell Read classes at the Halifax Learning Centre are cancelled today.
- The Discovery Centre on Barrington St. won’t open until noon.
Airport:
- Some delays, a few cancellations: Arrivals and Departures at Halifax Stanfield
- Routes 85, 84, 185, 16 disrupted because MacKay Bridge is closed to high-sided vehicles.
