TORONTO, Ont. – Fresh polling reveals Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff’s personal appeal is improving.
The poll by Angus Reid, done for the Toronto Star, found his personal approval rating is up to 25 per cent from 19 per cent, from when the campaign started.
However, more people still approve of NDP Leader Jack Layton and Conservative Leader Stephen Harper than they do of Ignatieff.
The poll also revealed Harper’s personal appeal has slipped by one per cent.
Harper begins his day Vaughan before heading to Hamilton, while Ignatieff remains in Quebec before making his way into Hamilton tonight for a rally.
Green Party Leader Elizabeth May makes her way into Toronto to unveil her party’s platform, while Layton continues his campaign in British Columbia.
