Another McDonald’s robbed in Halifax

Another Halifax McDonald’s restaurant has been robbed.

First it was the franchise on Quinpool Road on Sunday night.

This morning the location on Kempt Road was held up around 7am again, by a man with a knife.

Police describe the robber as “5’5″ and 140-150 lbs. At the time of the incident he was wearing glasses, dark pants and a black hooded sweatshirt under a camouflage jacket.”

He fled the store on foot but investigators believe he may have gotten into a car that was parked a short distance away. It is described as a small, green, dirty, two door vehicle that was last seen heading up Kempt Road towards Young Street.

So far, police are not saying the two crimes are connected aside from the food chain involved.
