Could watching too much TV lead to depression?

It is possible that the more TV you watch the greater your risk of depression becomes.
According to researchers at Harvard University, women who watch three hours or more per day are 13 per cent more likely to be diagnosed with depression than women who never tune in.
Inactivity can cause symptoms linked to depression including low self-esteem, fewer social activities and a change in appetite.
Researchers said exercise has the reverse effect, boosting self esteem along with endorphin levels.
