Halifax fire officials say no one was hurt in a fire that broke out next to a popular Barrington Street diner.
Flames spread through a three-storey building at 1124 Barrington street, across from the Superstore, around 10 p.m. Wednesday.
The building is attached to the South End Diner at the corner of Barrington and Kent, but it’s not clear yet whether the eatery was damaged.
Halifax fire officials tweeted around 11 p.m. that the fire was under control.
There’s no word on a cause.
