It’s time to flip the switch and light up the Dartmouth Christmas tree!
The annual Dartmouth Christmas Tree Lighting festivities take place from 4:30pm until 7pm Saturday at Sullivan’s Pond.
The party will include choirs, carolers, fireworks and of course – Santa Claus!
You can bring two sets of traditional glass holiday lights to the tree lighting ceremony and have them exchanged for one set of energy efficient LED holiday lights.
There will also be volunteers collecting cash donations for Margaret’s House, a local charity kitchen that feeds adults in need.
Drivers can expect delays in the area and Crichton Avenue will be closed between Ochterloney and Dahlia Streets from 2pm to 8:30pm.
