House arrest for man who forged cheque

A Nova Scotia man who used a forged cheque to pay for car repairs has been placed on house arrest for six months.
Fifty-one-year-old John Mark Tillmann was sentenced this week in Dartmouth provincial court on charges of fraud under 5-thousand dollars and forgery.
The court was told that Tillmann defrauded MacKay’s CarStar in Upper Sackville last November.
