Police seeking toonie scam specialist

Regional police are looking for your help in finding a man who is passing out fake $2.00 coin rolls.
Cst. Pierre Bourdages tells News 95.7 that the suspect has struck on a number of different occasions between February 25th and March 25th.
“He passed several rolls of toonies in an attempt to exchange them for cash, and in three seperate occasions he was successful, receiving several thousands of dollars.”
The rolls have a couple of legitimate coins on either end, but the rest of the roll is filled with washers.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 20’s, with facial hair on his chin and upper lip.
Anyone with information on these crimes or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact police or crimestoppers.
