Mooseheads name new captain

The Halifax Mooseheads have named their new captain for the upcoming 2014-2015 QMJHL season.

Forward Ryan Falkenham will lead the team, the 18-year-old is entering his fourth season with the Herd.

Defenceman Austyn Hardie and forward Nikolaj Ehlers will be the alternate captains.

The home opener is Friday, September 19th at 7 p.m. against the Moncton Wildcats, tickets go on sale Thursday, September 11th at 10 a.m., season tickets and 15-game packs are available now.

Fans can listen to all the games on News 95.7.
