Gas prices expected to rise

Don’t expect relief at the gas pumps this week.
Our newsroom is predicting prices will jump by about 2 cents a litre at midnight tonight.
Dave Collins of Wilson Fuels told News 95.7 there was a lot of speculation on the markets that prices would fall, and it caught fuel buyers off guard.
“A lot of us who are buyers got really caught short in this one,” said Collins. “Even though prices are going up, none of us were expecting it.”
New Brunswickers are paying more for gas today, that province’s regulator moved prices up by 3.6 cents a litre to a new maximum price of $135.7.
