Lawyer charged with human trafficking released from custody

A Lower Sackville lawyer facing charges related to human trafficking has been released from custody on a $5,000 bail.

Duane Alan Rhyno is to stay away from his alleged victim and the Old Orchard Inn in Greenwich where some of the offences are alleged to have taken place.

The 46-year-old was arrested Wednesday after a 3-month investigation by Kings District RCMP.

He has been charged with human trafficking, financial gain from human trafficking, aiding and abetting prostitution, living off the avails of prostitution and sexual assault.

His next court appearance is October 27th.
