Halifax police are asking for help finding a driver after a hit and run that happened last week.
Around noon on February 18, a 42-year-old man was crossing Kencrest Avenue in the 3900 block when he was hit by a car.
The car didn’t stop, and continued northbound on Kencrest Avenue before turning left onto Novalea Drive.
The car is described as a newer white Toyota Echo, and there’s no description of the driver.
The incident wasn’t reported to police until two days later, on February 20.
The man who was hit was not in a crosswalk at the time, and was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
