Owner of lost money located

Halifax Regional Police say they’ve found the owner of some money that was turned in by a good Samaritan.
A woman out for a walk in Dartmouth found some cash scattered on the street near Laurier Street and Woodland Avenue, which she turned into police.
Police say a man contacted them yesterday, and was able to provide the correct information to police to verify the validity of his claim.
