RCMP say they’ve arrested two teens thanks to the work of a K9 unit.
The Mounties say they were called to Arklow Drive in Forest Hills at around 4 a.m. Saturday morning after receiving a number of complaints of car break-ins in the area.
Police Service Dog Baylee and her handler led investigators to nearby Fieldwood Circle where they found one suspect hiding behind a car parked in a private driveway.
Baylee then sniffed out the second suspect, leading officers to a home on Chameau Crescent.
A 17-year-old Cole Harbour boy and a 15-year-old Cherry Brook boy were taken into custody, and will appear in youth court at a later date.
RCMP say Baylee was given a pat on the back for taking a bite out of crime.
