Another Fall River school hit with graffiti

RCMP are trying to find whoever is responsible for vandalizing Lockview High School in Fall River.

Corporal Greg Church told News 95.7 officers were called to a break and enter into a trailer on school grounds yesterday morning.

“This trailer is used by the football team to secure their gear, and also act as a change room as well,” he said. “Once RCMP arrived, they discovered culprits had broken into the trailer and had sprayed a significant amount of graffiti inside the trailer.”

RCMP are also investigating over $9,000 in damages to nearby Ash Lee Jefferson Elementary School.

They say between July 13 and July 17, suspects smashed 26 windows, demolished three portable toilets and spray painted graffiti on outside walls, doors and the parking lot.

Church said it’s too early to tell if the incidents are related.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at (902) 244-7208 or Crime Stoppers.
