Fire crews battle blaze near airport

Crews are on scene of a fire at a landfill site near Halifax Stanfield International Airport.

Halifax Fire told NEWS 95.7 the call came in just after 6 a.m. and there have been reports that there is ‘a lot of fire’ on the site on Antrim Rd, off of Old Guysborough Road.

No word in there are any traffic disruptions in the area, or if there are any structures in that area being affected.
