Those who enjoyed Stillwell’s beer garden along the Halifax waterfront will be in for a different experience this year.
Last year’s shipping container at Summit Amphitheatre was set up as a pilot project and went to tender in November.
The Stubborn Goat Gastropub has won the right to take over the venue for the next 3 years.
“We believe in what Nova Scotia has to offer and feel confident in our passion for, and ability to, showcase quality local products,” said Geir Simensen, co-owner of Stubborn Goat Gastropub. “The area will be enjoyed by locals and tourists alike.”
They plan to feature Atlantic Canadian beer and wine, locally inspired food including weekend brunches and live entertainment.
It will operate from mid-May until October.
