Halifax RCMP say they have found the body of a 4-year-old boy who went missing in Elmsvale.
Nicolas Baker was last seen around 9:50 p.m. Wednesday night at his grandparent’s home at 10914 Highway 224 between Middle Musquodoboit and Upper Musquodoboit.
Police, along with fire services and Ground Search and Rescue, combed the area for the boy.
“Shortly after 2 a.m. this morning, he was found deceased in a pool on the property,” Cpl. Jadie Spence told NEWS 95.7.
They say they are still investigating the incident, but his death is not considered suspicious at this time.
Spence said an autopsy will be conducted on the boy’s body today.
