Police release photos from Scotiabank robbery

HALIFAX – Regional Police have released photos from Thursday’s bank robbery at a Halifax Scotiabank.

Police said two armed suspects entered the Scotiabank branch on Lacewood around 7 p.m. Thursday, and demanded cash from bank staff before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was hurt during the incident, according to police, who remained on the scene on Thursday night to continue the investigation.

Police said K9 units attended the scene but were unable to locate the suspects.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
