Halifax Regional Police are hoping to identify two suspects after the Marshall’s in Dartmouth Crossing was robbed earlier this month.
At 5:44 p.m. on December 6, security followed two men, each pushing a full shopping cart, out of the store, police say neither stopped off the cashier to pay.
A man and woman parked their car next to the suspect and say they saw him quickly filling the trunk of his car with the items.
Police say when the man tried to get the license plate, he was pushed away.
When the second suspect arrived, the witness tried to intervene, but he was told to get out of the way and was shown a knife.
Police say the witness was shoved to the ground before the pair took off in a newer model Honda Civic.
The suspects are described as white men in their early 20s with slim builds and short brown hair.
One was wearing a dark coloured Under Armour jacket and a green baseball cap.
The second has light facial hair, and was wearing a white coat, dark pants, white shoes and a dark baseball cap.
