Gas prices expected to drop again this week in Nova Scotia

By Dan Ahlstrand

HALIFAX – Look for another drop at gasoline pumps across Nova Scotia this week.

Our newsroom is predicting that when regulated price are adjusted at midnight, they will fall by about 3 cents per litre.

George Murphy of Consumers for Fair Gas Prices writes on his blog that U.S. domestic oil output has increased by close on 850,000 barrels since the OPEC meeting on cuts at the end of November and that is keeping oil prices in check.

Across the border in New Brunswick prices fell by 2.7 cents, lowering the maximum price down to 112.6.
