One arrested after pair robbed of alcohol outside downtown NSLC

HALIFAX – A 33-year-old man is in custody after two men were robbed in the south end Wednesday night.
Police say the pair were leaving the Queen St. NSLC when they were approached by a group of five men and one woman who demanded their alcohol.
The victims handed over beer and spirits to the group.
The victims were able to give officers a detailed description of one of the men, and police arrested a suspect near South Park St.
They say their investigation is ongoing.
