Highway 102 overpass reopened

Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal says all lanes of Highway 102’s Bayers Lake overpass have reopened.
It had been shut down because of “construction issues” on the overpass over Lacewood Drive.
In an email to NEWS 95.7 transportation department spokesperson Brian Taylor said, “A construction crew was removing the jersey barrier and damaged the structure, causing a piece of debris to shake loose and the overpass to be closed temporarily.”
He added the debris has now been removed and inspectors have found the overpass is safe for traffic
