RCMP arrest Hells Angels member, two other on drugs and weapons charges in Cole Harbour

HALIFAX – Police say they’ve arrested a member of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang in Cole Harbour on drugs and weapons charges.

The arrests happened on Aug. 2.

Two other people were also taken into custody when police executed a search warrant on Cernix Court.

David James Bishop, 35, Jacquelyne Anna Brophy, 33, and 28-year-old Sarah Michelle Walker have been charged with numerous offences after police found large amounts of drugs including cocaine and ecstasy.

Multiple weapons were also found.

In a release, Cpl. Mike Kerr with the Nova Scotia Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit says “these charges exemplify the correlation between Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs and criminality. It is this kind of criminal activity that brings harm and increased violence to our communities.”

Bishop was expected to be in court Wednesday. The two women will be in court on Aug. 30.
