LOS ANGELES – Classic rocker Tom Petty is dead, according to numerous U.S. media outlets including CBS News, who report that the 66-year-old died after being found in full-cardiac arrest on Sunday night.
The news of Petty being rushed to hospital was first reported to TMZ, who reported that the hospital found no brain activity when he arrived and a decision was later made to pull life support.
Petty’s representative have yet to release a statement.
