102 southbound closed at exit 7 after fatal collision

GOFFS – At 7:21 p.m. Monday, a fatal motor vehicle collision occurred on Highway 102 southbound toward Halifax, reports RCMP Halifax District.
Police are on scene of the collision between exits 5A and 5 and the highway is closed at exit 7 (Enfield) until further notice.
The collision involved a Ford Explorer with a single occupant, a 55-year-old male from Lucasville, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
An RCMP accident reconstructionist is on scene to help determine the cause and circumstances of the collision and the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner's Office will be investigating to determine the Lucasville man's cause and manner of death, say police.
