Police believe same suspect responsible for three late night robbery attempts

Halifax Regional Police now believe three attempted robberies that happened late Thursday night are connected.
Police were called to the Showtime Video & Variety on Albro Lake Road and Wyse Road at 10:22 p.m. after a lone man went into the store with a firearm and demanded money. When the clerk yelled at him, the suspect ran off westbound.
At 10:52 p.m., police were called to the Bridgeview Grocery on the Bedford Highway near Flamingo Drive after a masked man with a firearm went in the store and demanded money. When the clerk refused, the suspect fled.
Then police were called to the One Stop Shop on Windmill Road near Albro Lake Road after getting a hold-up alarm at 11:33 p.m. Officers say a masked man tried to get in, and when he couldn't, he ran off.
No one was injured in any of the incidents.
Police are looking for a white man around 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing all black clothing and a metallic blue mask.
