Nova Scotia Health Authority looks for missing patient

By Meghan Groff

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is asking for public help to locate a missing patient.

They say Patrick Oliver, 56, went missing from a local hospital.

Oliver is described as African Canadian, around 5'6″ and 145 pounds. He has short black curly hair and brown eyes with grey flecks. He was last seen wearing black unlaced running shoes, a red T-shirt, navy hoodie, blue jeans and a grey jacket.

The health authority says the risk to his well-being increases with the length of time he is away from treatment.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
