Fetty Wap headed to Halifax stage

By Jordan Parker

Rapper Fetty Wap will hit the Halifax Forum for the first time in September.

The hit maker, who first gained acclaim in 2015 for his hit 'Trap Queen' followed it up with songs '679' and 'My Way.'

Trap Queen would receive two Grammy nominations the following year, pushing the rapper to new heights.

He will be in Halifax September 23, almost three years to the day since the release of his self-titled album, which debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 charts.

Since that album, he's been featured on songs with Fifth Harmony, Nicki Minaj and Cheat Codes.

In January 2018, he released his EP For My Fans III: The Final Chapter, and released mixtape Bruce Wayne this month.

The concert is being promoted by 3Run Entertainment, and HalifaxToday has reached out to Fetty Wap's reps for more information.

The show will be at the Halifax Forum on September 23, 2018, and will be an all ages show.

Tickets are currently on sale for $50.00, and there will be an after party at Toothy Moose with a $10 cover.
