Elmsdale home broken into while gardener outside in yard

East Hants District RCMP are investigating a daytime break-in in Elmsdale.

They say $500 and some jewelry went missing while a woman was working in her garden between noon and 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 25.

Police say the home was left unlocked while the homeowner was out in the yard.

Anyone with information is asked to contact 902-883-7077 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
