HRM releases Sunshine List

Halifax Regional Municipality has released the Sunshine List for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2019

That's the name given to the list of members of council, employees, consultants and contractors whose total compensation tops $100,000.

The top 10 highest earners combine for total compensation of over $2.24 million.

Halifax CAO Jacques Dube tops the list. His salary of $278,891.85 combined with $12,349.30 in other benefits gave him a total compensation of $291,241.15.

Second highest total compensation went to the former general manager of Halifax Water, Carl Yates, with $265,519.28.

A total of 847 people made the list.
