Tony Walsh disappearance now being investigated as a homicide
RCMP say evidence in the disappearance of a man five months ago has now led them to investigate the case as a homicide.
Peter Anthony Walsh (Tony Walsh) was last seen in Truro on August 23.
His vehicle, a beige 1990 Chrysler Sebring, was later found by his family in the parking lot of a business in downtown Truro.

Last month, Tony's family released a YouTube video pleading for information on his whereabouts.
“Tony is a son, brother, father, uncle and friend to many and we all miss him dearly,” said Walsh's mother Susan Robben. “Tony's daughter is looking to have her dad come home for Christmas and cook her supper. That's all she's asking for.”
Sgt. Glenn Bonvie of Northeast Nova Major Crimes Unit says investigators appreciate the tips and information they received as a result of the video appeal.
“We believe there are people in the community who know what happened and we need them to come forward,” said Bonvie in a news release. “Our focus continues to be on the family and on getting answers for them as we try to determine what happened to Tony,” he continues.
