Several hundred patrons evacuated from ‘The Dome’ Sunday for bomb threat

Downtown party goers were forced to leave Halifax's Liquor Dome early Sunday morning after a bomb threat was called into Halifax Police before 1:00 a.m.

According to regional police, 1,300 patrons and staff were forced to leave the venue while officers conducted an investigation.

Halifax Transit buses were rolled to the downtown location so patrons who had not retrieved their coat or keys from inside could remain warm.
