By CityNews Halifax Staff

RCMP have set up an email where Nova Scotians can send their condolences to the family of Cst. Heidi Stevenson.

The 23-year veteran of the Force was one of at least 18 people killed in a shooting rampage that began in Portapique on Saturday night.

A second Mountie was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Messages can be sent to RCMP.Condolences-Condoleances.GRC@rcmp-grc.gc.ca

RCMP are urging the public to abide by the Health Protection Act Order and Emergency Management Act while honouring the members.

Nova Scotia's Mental Health Crisis Line is available 24/7 by calling toll-free 1-888-429-8167. Kids Help Phone counsellors can be reached at 1-800-668-6868.
