Construction to cause traffic delays across HRM

Monday, Nov. 9, 2020 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that road construction will be taking place at various locations across the municipality as follows on Tuesday, Nov. 10:
- St. George Boulevard from Matthew to Virginia drives from 8 to 10 a.m.
- Chain Lake Drive from Horseshoe Lake Drive to Habitat for Humanity Restore from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Leeds Street from Novalea to Memorial drives from noon to 1 p.m.
- Duffus Street from Robie Street to Novalea Drive from 1 to 2 p.m.
- Veterans Memorial Lane from Robie to Summer streets from 2 to 3 p.m.
Lane drops or stop-and-go traffic will be in place while work is underway. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Construction During COVID-19: Construction crews will strive to maintain physical distancing measures, however, residents may see workers within two metres of each other while completing certain tasks which aligns with the exemptions outlined in the Provincial Health Order. If approaching construction crews, residents are asked to provide at least two metres of physical distancing.
