MISSISSAUGA, Ontario (AP) _ Nuvo Research Inc. (NRIFF) on Monday reported a third-quarter loss of $2.1 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Mississauga, Ontario-based company said it had a loss of 19 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 7 cents per share.

The drugmaker posted revenue of $12.5 million in the period.

The company’s shares closed at 64 cents. A year ago, they were trading at 38 cents.
