Gas prices expected to go up this week

By Mark Hodgins

Gas prices could be on the way up again this week in Nova Scotia.

That's according to George Murphy with Consumers for Fair Gas Prices. He's calling for an increase of about two cents when prices are adjusted at midnight.

Murphy telling NEWS 95.7, supplies are tightening around the world.

“It's a sign of increasing demand out there that's causing this, and it's a sign of a tightening market that we're seeing out there,” said Murphy.

Across the border in New Brunswick, prices are up by 4/10ths of a cent to 113.3 cents per litre.
