MOSCOW (AP) _ Mobile TeleSystems OAO (MBT) on Tuesday reported first-quarter net income of $217.3 million.
On a per-share basis, the Moscow-based company said it had profit of 25 cents.
The telecommunications company posted revenue of $1.67 billion in the period.
MTS shares have increased roughly 3% since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 6% in the last 12 months.
